Built in 1970, in Sunnyvale, California on the spot where a ranch once stood, this business is said to be haunted by the spirit of Johnny Johnson, a young man who worked on the ranch.  It is said that Johnny was mentally impaired and died in 1884 on the property after cutting his leg with an ax while chopping wood.  He died near a well on the property.  He was known as crazy Johnny by his fellow ranch-hands.  Records have proven this death to be true, hence propelling the story of the Toys-r-us ghost into the media.

Whem Town Hall Ghost (The ghost of a young girl can be seen)

On November 19, 1995, Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England burned to the ground.  The building was built in 1905 and many spectators stopped to watch as it burned.  One of the local residents, Tony O'Rahilly, was one of those spectators and took photos of the building with a 200mm telephoto lens from across the street. The photo above was one of those photo's.  It shows a small, partially transparent girl standing in the doorway. No one, O'Rahilly, the onlookers or firefighters saw the girl there.   He submitted the photo to the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena.  The results of their investigation concluded that the photo was genuine.  The negative was a straight-forward piece of work with no evident tampering.
